![]() We still need to follow the development of Mac OS 13 – Ventura until the official release, but so far so good and no issues. Besides that I tested also some Winetricks (which are used in many of the port creations) and they (for the ones I checked) seem to work without issues as well. I tested installing a steam port and a couple of GOG.com games and they all install and run fine. Secondly I started testing Existing game ports which I installed previously, and they all seem to work just fine as they did in Mac OS 13 Monterey. It would earlier say that Mac OS 13 is not “compatible” yet with Porting Kit, this has now been removed. ![]() Below a quick overview.Īt first, it’s good to know, that since today we removed the blockade for using Porting Kit in Mac OS 13 – Ventura. I still need to upgrade and test my Apple Silicon based Macbook Air. Nevertheless, from the things I have been tested (On my Intel Based Macbook Pro), it works all the same as in Mac OS 12 – Monterey. Yeah, it’s all exciting, but still kinda “beta” because not everything is tested thoroughly yet, and Mac OS 13 Ventura is still in Beta itself as well.
